Chinese Fried Rice

1 big glass of rice(I used ponni) - cook so grains are separate
2 clove garlic, chopped
1 onion sliced very thin
1 carrot grated
broccoli
green peas
2 eggs, scrambled and chopped(optional)
sesame oil\
peanut oil
sesame seeds
turmeric powder
salt
pepper
soy sauce
chili garlic paste
(tiny chopped pineapple, optional)

Add sesame oil, salt, and lots of pepper to the cooked rice and mix gently.
In a large pan heat peanut oil. Add onions and garlic till translucent. Add sesame seeds. Then the vegs. Then the soy sauce and other spices, etc. Stir in the rice, egg, mix well. Turn off the heat. Finally add the pineapple.

Tausalli/cucumber idli

I couldve sworn I had posted about this before, but I cant find it. A sudden craving struck tonight and tried to look up exactly what I have done before, but not to be found.

I guess it was something like this:

2c cucumber or pumpkin grated with pinch of salt
1c rava roasted in tsp of ghee
1/2c jaggery grated
pinch of cardamom
coconut grated
cashews

Mix and keep aside for 30 min till it becomes wet. Steam 10 mins.
